The Nuna Group of Companies is now recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator Program Developer. Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks and mine construction contractor in Canada.
The Heavy Equipment Operator Program Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting a comprehensive heavy equipment operator training program in alignment with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This role leads the development of structured, competency-based curricula for students and operators, covering classroom learning, simulator training, and hands-on field experience.
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners such as Kiikenomaga Kikenjigewen Employment & Training Services (KKETS), the Program Developer ensures training schedules, materials, safety orientation, and operating procedures are consistent, effective, and scalable. The role plays a critical part in building operator competence, supporting safe operations, and enabling successful program delivery.
