The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for Crusher Operators with large earthworks construction projects experience.
Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks, and mine construction contractor in Canada.

• 3 week on / 3 week off rotations
• Fly in and Fly out
• Competitive hourly rate with Overtime pay at (1.5x)
• Commercial flights and accommodations are covered
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operates console to control conveyor system and crushing equipment
• Operate tower and equipment as required
• Ensures quality of materials being produced meets specifications
• Pre-start safety inspections (Perform daily inspections on crushing equipment)
• Communicate and direct work of grounds-person, crusher mechanic, and loader operator
• Stops equipment and clears jams
• Assist with maintenance as required
• Communicates with supervisor regarding all aspects of crushing operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-3 years' experience with different crusher units
• Experience assisting with changing screens, belts, rollers, jaw plates, cones, belt repairs, and other repairs related to crushing operations is an asset
• Have experience on CAT loaders among other pieces of equipment working in mining, heavy civil construction, and road building environment
• Must be able to operate power tools
• General understanding of the principles of crushing and screening. Ability to interpret sieve test results and adjust equipment to produce in spec material
• Able to adjust systems to optimize operations and meet specifications
• Must be able to always maintain communications with all equipment operators
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness
• Experience with radio communications and protocols
